ALL ACADEMICS AND STAFF AT UC SAN DIEGO
The UC San Diego Center for Healthy Aging invites UC San Diego faculty and staff to attend its Inaugural Symposium on May 26th from 12:30-6:00 PM at Atkinson Hall Auditorium (Calit2). Two world-renowned experts in the field of aging Gary Gottlieb, MD, MBA, CEO of the Harvard-affiliated Partners in Health and John Feather, PhD, CEO of Grantmakers in Aging will deliver keynote addresses. In addition, there will be two multi-disciplinary panel discussions on Healthcare for Tomorrow and Senior Living. A reception will take place from 5:00 to 6:00 PM and will include refreshments and poster presentations by recipients of the Center’s Innovative Multi-Disciplinary Research and Education Pilot Grants. This symposium is made possible through the support of UC San Diego's: School of Medicine, Skaggs School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, Qualcomm Institute, Institute of Engineering in Medicine (IEM), Kavli Institute for Brain and Mind (KIBM), Clinical and Translational Research Institute (CTRI), Stein Institute for Research on Aging, and the Division of Biological Sciences. This event is open to all staff, faculty, and the public, but space is limited.
