SUBJECT:    Transportation Options for the Sun God Festival

Fellow Students:

The Sun God Festival is this Saturday, April 30th. The artist lineup includes Miguel, Nico & Vinz, Great Good Fine Ok, and a surprise opener. You must register in advance to attend the festival. Registration closes on Tuesday, April 26th at 11:59pm (or until supplies last). Registration is limited in accordance with RIMAC Field capacity and will occur on a first come, first served basis. Having a plan to get to and from the festival safely is an important part of the safe Sun God experience. Please keep the following points in mind when developing your safe Sun God plan:

-Campus shuttles will not be running on April 30th; however 4 different MTS bus lines (201, 202, 921A West & 921A East) will provide service to the UC San Diego campus that day. Please be sure that you have an up to date MTS U-Pass sticker if you plan to ride an MTS bus. If you donít have a sticker, you can find out how to get one here:

-You can also register for A.S. Safe Rides to get a FREE ride home (up to $10 in Uber credit for new and returning users). In order to use this service, you must register for A.S. Safe Rides by 5pm on April 29th and have your UC San Diego ID card. For A.S. Safe Rides registration and more information, click here:

-The Sun God Festival transportation page includes the most up to date information about alternative transportation options on the day of the Sun God Festival. Please visit it here:
