Visiting Summer Opportunities with Partner Universities

Select UCEAP partner universities in Asia will open a call (usually starting in November) for applications from UC faculty who may be interested in teaching a course or courses in their 2017 international summer school programs. Yonsei University (Seoul), Fudan University (Shanghai), and the Chinese University of Hong Kong will provide details of the offer, timeline, and responsibilities for their respective institutions. All courses are taught in English. Classes are open to UCEAP students, along with other international and local students. All three summer terms fit within UC semester and quarter academic calendars. Courtesy postings with application instructions will appear on UCEAP’s website as they become available.

UCEAP Academic Integration Grants Program - Call for Proposals

UCEAP has allocated $50,000 for academic departments across the UC campuses to integrate study abroad programs and coursework into their curricula. Our goal is to fund ten teams of faculty and staff up to $5,000 each to work over the next year to make study abroad accessible for undergraduate students. The Call for Proposals, application, a list of proposals that were funded in 2015-16, and a list of deliverables for each of the 2014-15 grants are available here:
http://eap.ucop.edu/AboutUs/Pages/AcademicIntegration.aspx

We invite you to apply, and we welcome applications from all academic disciplines. Please also share this with your departmental contacts and any other faculty and staff who you think may be interested.

The deadline for submission is November 30, 2016. Completed applications and questions about the grants can be sent to UCEAP Associate Dean Hsiu-Zu Ho and Academic Integration Analyst Katie van Meeuwen at AIntegration@eap.ucop.edu .
