UC San Diego is committed to providing a safe campus environment for its students, faculty and staff. In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the 2016 UC San Diego Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is now available at http://www.police .ucsd.edu/docs/annualclery.pdf The 2016 UC San Diego Annual Security and Fire Safety Report provides statistics for certain crimes reported over the previous three years which occurred on campus, in or on non-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the university, or on public property immediately adjacent to and accessible from the main campus. This report also contains information pertaining to campus security; alcohol and drug policies; missing person reports; crime prevention; information on dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking prevention and response; and procedures for timely warning notifications and emergency response and evacuation, among others. This report also includes important fire safety information and statistics concerning on-campus student housing facility fires, fire drills and fire safety education and training. All members of the campus community are encouraged to immediately report crimes to the UC San Diego Police Department at (858) 534-4357. Emergencies or situations that may pose an immediate or ongoing threat to the health and safety of our students, employees and visitors should immediately be reported by dialing 9-1-1 from a campus phone or by dialing (858) 534-4357 from a mobile phone, or by using one of the call boxes located in the parking areas. Paper copies of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report may be obtained by contacting the UC San Diego Police Department at (858) 534-4361 or in person at the UC San Diego Police Department located in Campus Services Complex, Bldg. B.
