The Darcy and Robert Bingham Scholarships are awarded to outstanding UC San Diego student employees. These are one-year scholarships, up to $2,000, to be awarded in 2017-2018.

HOW TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION
Log onto http://MyTritonlink.ucsd.edu.
Enter your User ID & Password.
Under Finance Tools, click “Financial Aid.”
Click 2017-2018 Academic Year Scholarships.
Then, click on two sign-in boxes/screens to get to the application.
Click “Opportunities”/All – Darcy and Robert Bingham Scholarship/APPLY.
Changes can be made up to deadline.

CRITERIA
15+ hours work per week in 2016-2017 and 2017-2018
Employed by UC San Diego (open to all departments) in 2016-2017 and 2017-2018
Full-time undergraduate & UC San Diego student employee in 2016-2017
In good academic standing
Recommendation Letter from a Supervisor

SUPERVISORS
Supervisors should prepare their recommendation letter and save it to an electronic file beforehand, ready to be uploaded via a link that is emailed to them.

STUDENTS
Students contact their supervisor to request the recommendation, and they give their supervisor their UC San Diego student ID#. The system will immediately send the supervisor an email that will only provide the student ID# but not the student name.
Students cannot view the recommendation letters, but they can check to see if the letter has been received.
