UC People Management Certificate

Campus Human Resources Staff Education and Development and Health Human Resources Talent and Organization Development have collaborated to launch the UC People Management Certificate for UC San Diego. The UC People Management Certificate is for staff who currently manage or supervise people or aspire to manage people. It is designed to increase our people management capabilities at UC San Diego as well as across the entire UC system.

This UC Systemwide program consists of Core and Elective Courses, which include local and systemwide programs, eCourses, and in-person learning experiences covering the following competencies:

- Performance Management
- Managing People
- Administration and Operations
- Change Management
- Communications

The UC People Management Certificate program:

- Builds baseline management skills for all people managers
- Increases opportunity for promotion and potential for future leadership positions
- Offers easily accessible online courses that are learner-centric and self-paced
- Builds on coursework already completed
