RESOURCE MANAGEMENT & PLANNING December 19, 2017
During the holiday season, the UC San Diego campus (excluding the hospitals and clinics) will officially be closed December 23, 2017 through January 2, 2018. Resource Management and Planning (RMP) divisions and operations that will be closed during this period include:
Resource Management & Planning – Administration The following RMP units will have minimal staffing and limited services from December 23, 2017 through January 2, 2018: Bookstore: minimal staff December 27 through December 29, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., for deliveries only; not open for customer services. Environment, Health and Safety: For EH&S related emergencies, contact 9-1-1 or 858-534-4357 (HELP) and a Campus Dispatcher will summon EH&S responders. For EH&S limited services during the campus closure period, contact 858-534-3660 and your call will be referred to an appropriate team member for follow-up. Design & Development Services (DDS) and Capital Program Management (CPM): Contact (858) 200-6027 for emergency services. Facilities Management: FM will provide adequate staff to cover campus emergencies and to perform special projects that can only be handled during low occupancy levels. For emergency services, please contact the Central Utilities Plant at (858) 534-3250 or 3251 and your call will be referred to an appropriate team member for response.
Fleet Services: Fleet Services will be supporting campus conservation
efforts by observing the holiday closure. For emergency Fleet Services
support please call or text the following: Shuttle Services: Coaster Shuttle, East Campus Connector, and Hillcrest Medical Center Shuttle will operate during the Campus Closure, excluding University Holidays. For detailed information, visit http://transportation.ucsd.edu/shuttles/ Police: The front counter will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. from December 27-30 and January 3-5. The Police Department will be open and can be reached at (858) 534-4357 for emergency services.
