Traffic/Parking Impacts Commencement Weekend June 16-18

In support of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s momentous visit to the UC San Diego campus, I would like to provide you with additional details regarding anticipated parking and transportation impacts June 16-18.

· Friday, June 16: For traffic control and security purposes, many campus roads and parking lots will be closed to general traffic for the Dalai Lama’s public address at RIMAC Field.

· Saturday and Sunday, June 17-18: There will be continued parking and transportation impacts due to All Campus Commencement and other commencement ceremonies as well as Move Out activities.v Complete details on traffic and parking impacts expected each day of commencement weekend are available here:

Please review the details and plan accordingly. Be sure to allow yourself plenty of extra time to get wherever you need to be on campus and follow all signs and traffic control measures.
