ESR Program to Reshape Campus Systems and Processes

We are pleased to announce Enterprise Systems Renewal (ESR), an
initiative that will transform core business systems and processes
across campus, focusing on:
• Finance
• Human Resources and Payroll
• Research Administration
• Student and Faculty Information
• Facilities Information Management
• Data and Analytics
• Supporting Infrastructure

ESR is the largest process and technology improvement program ever
undertaken at UC San Diego. The program focuses on UC San Diego’s
Strategic Plan goal of creating an agile, sustainable and supportive
infrastructure.

As a multi-year program, ESR will engage central offices and academic
units to optimize processes focusing on lean business principles and to
deploy new software solutions that will effectively meet the
ever-changing needs of our growing university.
