SUBJECT: | Revised Policy and Procedure Manual (PPM) Section
100-4, Integrity of Research Policy and Procedures |
The University invites comments on proposed revisions to the UC San
Diego Integrity of Research Policy and Procedures (PPM 100-4). This
policy was reviewed and revised at the request of Sandra Brown, Vice
Chancellor for Research, and has been reviewed by the UC San Diego
Academic Senate.
The revised policy updates current University policy and procedures. The
purpose of this policy is to address Research Misconduct, which is
defined as fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism in proposing,
performing, or reviewing research, or in reporting research results.

This is a request for campus comments of the proposed policy. If you
