The UC San Diego Institute for Public Health invites you to save the
date. CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - SUBMISSION DEADLINE - FEBRUARY 22, 2019 The UC San Diego Institute for Public Health will host the 6th Annual Public Health Research Day Symposium and Poster Session to highlight research accomplishments and real world Public Health activities of the UC San Diego Public Health community. This two-part event will include a Symposium and a Poster Session, highlighting the cutting edge public health work being done by our undergraduate students, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, research staff, and faculty. We are now calling for poster abstract submissions. If you are interested in participating, please submit a structured abstract (limited to one abstract per first author) via our online submission system located HERE. If your abstract is accepted, you will be notified and asked to create a poster to display at the event. Authors (or their designated co-author representative) are asked to remain with their poster for part of the poster session, responding to questions from interested observers. Abstracts should highlight recently completed research or community public health work. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We will only accept one submission for each first author, and 2) The abstract texts should not exceed 250 words. Organizing faculty will review abstracts and make selections for the poster session. Authors will be notified by March 8, 2019. If you have questions, contact us at: ucsdphrd@gmail.com.
