Annual Benefits Open Enrollment Period

Open Enrollment begins today and ends on Tuesday, November 26 at 5 p.m.
This is your opportunity to review benefit offerings at UC San Diego and
evaluate which plans will be most appropriate for you and your family
for 2020.

UCnet (https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/oe/) offers information
and tools to help you decide which plan is best for you. It also
includes details about UC Care, a PPO with a broad network of providers,
and UC Blue & Gold, a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) with a
custom network of providers created exclusively for the University of
California.

UC San Diego understands that employees have choices about where to
receive their healthcare. Good healthcare begins with convenient primary
care, and UC San Diego Health has expanded our network of locations near
where you live and work to provide more options for same-day visits. UC
San Diego primary care faculty physicians provide a full range of
services for children, families, adults and seniors. As a UC San Diego
employee, you can be assured that if you choose UC San Diego Health, you

November 19th, 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.: ACTRI Auditorium
November 20th, 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.: Hillcrest Auditorium

November 22nd, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Jacobs Medical Center, Community and
Medical Education Center (first floor conference rooms)
Open Enrollment is also the time for you to enroll or re-enroll in a
Flexible Spending Account if you want to continue your Health FSA (for
healthcare expenses for you and your family members) or Dependent Care
FSA (for childcare or eldercare expenses) in 2020.
