CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Revelle Utilities Improvement Project – Intermittent Closures to Gilman Drive North-Bound Lanes - December 18, 2019

Project Location/Description:

North-bound lanes on Gilman Drive will be intermittently closed
Wednesday, December 18, 2019, between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm as
part of the Revelle Utilities Improvement Project. Activities will
include potholing to locate existing utilities on the Gilman Drive north
bound lane, by the La Jolla Village Drive off ramp, and patch.

Immediate Parking Lot, Street Traffic, and Pedestrian Impacts:

During construction, potholing will be performed on the 2 north-bound
lanes of Gilman Drive. Crews will alternate work between lanes, in order
for one lane to remain open for traffic at all times. The south-bound
lanes of Gilman Drive will not be impacted. Bicycle lanes and pedestrian
sidewalks will remain open. Flaggers will be present to direct
vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Please follow signage,
proceed with caution and allow extra time while traveling on Gilman
Drive.
