A search is now underway for the position of UC San Diego Co-Director of the Kavli Institute for Brain and Mind (KIBM), an Organized Research Unit at UC San Diego. The Co-Director will report to the Vice Chancellor for Research.
Responsibilities of the Co-Director include:
Qualifications include: Eligibility is restricted to those individuals holding tenured faculty appointments at UC San Diego. It is anticipated that the initial appointment will be for a five-year term from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2025. By design, the other Co-Director will be appointed by the Salk Institute. The search committee is Andrea Chiba (Professor, Cognitive Science), Dilip Jeste (Professor, Psychiatry), and Alysson Muotri (Professor, Pediatrics).
