December 10, 2019 Representative Assembly Meeting

Dear Colleagues:

Our second meeting of the 2019-20 academic year is scheduled for
Tuesday, December 10th at 3:30 p.m., in the Garren Auditorium of the
Biomedical Sciences Building (1st floor). The Notice of Meeting
(agenda) and all pertinent documents may be found at the following two
locations:

Executive Vice Chancellor Elizabeth Simmons will address the Assembly at
this meeting, and there will be presentations on Kuali (Research, COI
and IRB) and Students in Distress. The San Diego Divisional Senate
faculty representative on the UC Presidential Search Academic Advisory
Committee will be introduced. In addition, Undergraduate Council will
present a proposal to expand the Analytical Writing Program course
offerings, and Undergraduate Council and the Educational Policy
Committee will present a proposal to revise Divisional Senate Bylaws 200
and 210.

If you are a Representative Assembly member and cannot attend next
week’s meeting, please be sure to notify your alternate to do so in your
stead. Your participation matters. I look forward to seeing you on
