We are writing to inform all faculty and staff of the large-scale
signature events taking place on our campus during the 2019 calendar
year, in the hope that you will help make these occasions special for
the many visitors who will be attending.
Broad participation from our campus community is instrumental to the
success of many of these events. Moreover, volunteers are essential for
making many of them possible. Please mark your calendars and plan to
take part in these joyous occasions.
*Triton 5K: Sunday, April 7, 2019
*Triton Day: Saturday, April 13, 2019
*Sun God Festival: Saturday, April 27, 2019
*Transfer Triton Day: Saturday, May 11, 2019
*Alumni Celebration Weekend: Friday and Saturday, May 31 and June 1,
2019
*Commencement Weekend: Saturday and Sunday, June 15 and 16, 2019
*All Staff Picnic: Friday, August 16, 2019
*Convocation: Tuesday (Morning), September 24, 2019
*Homecoming and Family Weekend: Friday through Sunday, October 18-20,
2019
*Founders Celebration: Thursday through Saturday, November 14-16, 2019
*Staff Appreciation Holiday Breakfast: Thursday, December 19, 2019

shared with the UC San Diego community by the coordinating departments.
