Project Purpose
The Voigt Utility Project will provide critical chilled water, reclaimed water and data/telecom utilities for campus infrastructure as well as utility services to the new Franklin Antonio Hall project in the Warren College Neighborhood. The forthcoming impacts will restore roadways and upgrade striping to include eastbound and westbound dedicated bicycle lanes.
Location and Duration
Construction will occur from the Hopkins Parking Structure to Atkinson Hall along Hopkins Dr., Voigt Dr, and Engineer Ln. Intermittent impacts will occur starting the week of October 12th through the week of October 26th, 2020.
Immediate Parking Lot, Street Traffic, and Pedestrian Impacts
- Single lane closures will be required in the areas noted above and directed by flaggers. Two way vehicular and bicycle traffic will be maintained at all times.
- Traffic control signage will be posted.
- The sidewalks along Hopkins Dr, Voigt Dr, and Engineer Ln will not be affected.
