ALL STUDENTS AT UC SAN DIEGO

SUBJECT:    The Coronavirus and You: A Discussion for All Students on Monday, Feb. 10, 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Great Hall

Dear Students,

This is a challenging time for many of our community members. UC San Diego is an international community of scholars and we understand that many of you are worried not only about your own health and well-being, but also for that of your friends and family living abroad.

UC San Diego is hosting a discussion forum on Monday, February 10 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Great Hall at the International House to invite the campus community to come together, and share how the coronavirus is affecting you. All students are encouraged to attend.

At UC San Diego, we understand that many may feel uncertain or anxious during this public health crisis, and discussion at this event will reflect why we need to remember to care for one another and not make assumptions about others’ perceived symptoms or any characteristics of identity. This is a time for the UC San Diego community to support one another. Your compassion and empathy for each other makes a difference.
