We are aware there are many questions regarding operations at UC San Diego amid the public health impacts of the novel Coronavirus. This is a rapidly changing and unprecedented situation that requires coordination with other campuses and the Office of the President. We are working out the details on how this will impact the Spring Quarter for students, faculty and staff.
In order to expedite communications and to not inundate your inboxes,
all decisions will be posted to the UC San Diego Coronavirus website at
https://coronavirus.ucsd.edu. In addition, when updates are posted, we will
distribute a Triton Alert that will text you notice. If you haven’t
already signed up for Triton Alerts, you may do so at this site: While there have been no confirmed cases of Coronavirus on the UC San Diego campus, our goals are to protect the health of our students, faculty and staff; to help slow the spread of the virus in California and the nation; and to ensure the continuity of our teaching and research. All measures are in line with guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the California Department of Public Health.
