OFFICE OF THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER- UC SAN DIEGO HEALTH April 23, 2020
We are pleased to announce that UC San Diego has formally committed to a UCPath deployment. Our cutover activities will occur as originally scheduled in May, with UC San Diego’s first paycheck being issued on the June 1, 2020 monthly payday. This decision was made after a thorough determination of readiness which included in-depth testing of the application, as well as input from stakeholders, an assessment of training status, and the development of a risk mitigation plan. We fully support this decision knowing that together we are a community capable of surmounting any obstacles. As one of the final University of California campuses to make the transition to UCPath, we’ve had the benefit of incorporating lessons learned from other locations into our implementation plan. Our plan is also sensitive to the realities and challenges of our current remote work environment. Rest assured that our priority is ensuring UC San Diego employees continue to receive timely and accurate pay. As we transition to UCPath, employees can continue to view their pay records and other employee information on At Your Service Online (AYSO) but will not be able to update information until we go live with the UCPath Self-Service Portal on June 1, 2020. For information or to request assistance, please visit https://ucpath.ucsd.edu/. We are proud every day as we see how each of you is continuing to contribute to the mission of the university during these difficult times. Preparation, hard work, and commitment will make our success possible, because we have all applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand. We are deeply grateful for our community’s continued spirit of resilience and tenacity.
