The safety of our staff, students and faculty is our top priority. As the public health landscape evolves, we must adjust accordingly to provide additional protections for all those who come to our campus, hospitals and other UC San Diego worksites. In accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), State of California and San Diego County mandates, the University of California San Diego has instituted mandatory daily self-screenings for COVID-19 symptoms for all employees working on-site. Employees must complete the self-screening process each day prior to reporting for work on-site at any UC San Diego location. This information pertains only to those employees who are currently reporting to campus or another physical UC San Diego location for work. If you are working remotely, you should continue to do so until you receive further instructions and you do not need to complete the symptom screening process. Beginning Monday, June 1, the self-screening process must be conducted utilizing a new self-screening tool. To complete the self-screening process, employees must first register with the self-screening tool. After you register, you may opt in to receive a daily survey via email which you can complete on your smartphone or web-enabled device. To access the screening tool and register, visit: https://blink.ucsd.edu/go/screening. If you do not have a smart phone or access to the internet, instructions on submitting your daily COVID-19 symptom screening can be found at https://blink.ucsd.edu/go/screening. Managers and supervisors can also find information about their role in the self-screening process on this page. Remember, the most effective way to prevent transmission of COVID-19 is to:
Thank you for all you are doing to ensure that UC San Diego is a safe and healthy environment for all campus community members.
