CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Revelle Utilities Improvement – Parking Lot P103 and Scholars Drive South Impacts

Project Location/Description: The Revelle Utilities Improvement project will construct an underground
domestic water line, sewer line, and a medium voltage electrical
ductbank in the Revelle College area. This project will provide
additional water and sewage capacity to the area and bring power closer
to existing facilities.

Construction of the Revelle Utilities Improvement project will begin on
July 13, 2020, with an anticipated completion of January 2021.

Immediate Parking Lot, Street Traffic, Shuttle Stop, Bike Lane, and
Pedestrian Impacts:

Construction impacts will include closing approximately 55 parking
spaces at Parking Lot P103. Access to parking lot P103 will not be
impacted.

Traffic delays on Scholars Drive South between Revelle College Drive and
Gilman Drive will occur due to one lane closure on Scholars Drive South
between July 16, 2020 to December 30, 2020. Traffic will be controlled
by flag persons when the lane is closed. The shuttle stop, bicycle
lanes, and pedestrian sidewalks on Scholars Drive South will also be
impacted by this closure. Please follow signage and allow extra time
while traveling on Scholars Drive South.
