During times of crisis and uncertainty, it can be difficult and overwhelming to sort fact from fiction. In response, two physicians at UC San Diego Health have launched “COVID-19 Virtual Grand Rounds,” a limited, six-part, live symposium series that will focus on topics related to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Running from July 22 through August 26, the series will feature timely topics including epidemiology, vaccine treatments, public health perspectives, and more. Hosted by UC San Diego Health’s Christopher Longhurst, MD, and Robert “Chip” Schooley, MD, each week’s live video will feature experts from UC San Diego, UCLA, Stanford, and Harvard, among others. Viewers can watch COVID-19 Virtual Grand Rounds live on YouTube on Wednesdays from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. PST. Subscribe to our YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/UCSDMedicalCenter to be notified when we go live. Viewers will be able to join the discussion by submitting questions or comments via Mentimeter (https://www.menti.com). Mentimeter codes will be displayed at the start of each episode.
