ESR Financial Information System Ready for Use

We are pleased to announce the successful release of Oracle Financials
Cloud (OFC), a world-class financial system, and Concur, our new travel
and expense system, on July 1. Campus, Health and the Foundation were
full partners on this project, with hundreds of staff contributing time
and expertise.

You are now encouraged to begin entering July 2020 transactions in OFC
and Concur. The project team and other subject matter experts have spent
the last several days performing troubleshooting and fixing issues in
order to provide as stress-free an experience as possible.

TRAINING AND SUPPORT
The transition to our new processes and tools will be gradual. We are
not expecting you to be an expert right away. Therefore, please be
patient with yourself and each other as we learn and grow together.

OFC and Concur use WalkMe to provide in-system help when you need it.
WalkMe works by overlaying messages on the screen with step-by-step

SYSTEMS ACCESS
Access to both Oracle Financials Cloud and Concur will be requested via
the Service & Support portal: https://go.ucsd.edu/3cCXcly. Provisioning
and access in these role-based systems aligns user privileges and
workflows, respecting internal controls and segregation of duties.

FISCAL YEAR 19/20 CLOSING
As a reminder, we must finalize all financial activity for FY19/20 in
our legacy systems. It is critical to input accurate data for future
reporting and audits and in preparation for transferring data to new

The OFC and Concur go-lives represent a major milestone for UC San Diego
and the Enterprise Systems Renewal (ESR) program. We again extend our
