Return to Learn: Student Town Hall

In an effort to provide regular updates and answer your questions about campus operations during the COVD-19 pandemic, UC San Diego will host monthly town halls about the Return to Learn program and the impact of the pandemic on the student experience. I invite you to join us for the next student-centered Return to Learn town hall on Wednesday, August 12, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.

The student town hall will feature a Q&A session moderated by Ebonee Williams, Ph. D., Director of Virtual Experience and Peer Engagement Initiatives for Student Affairs, with the following panelists joining us to answer questions from students:
  • Doug Easterly, Ed.D., Dean of Academic Advising, John Muir College
  • Maruth Figueroa, Ed.D., Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Retention and Success
  • Vonda Garcia, Director of Financial Aid
    • Gabriela Hoffmann, Assistant Director of International Programs
    • Kimberly Giangtran, President of Associated Students
    • Patricia Mahaffey, Ed.D., Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Life
    • Quynh Nguyen, President of the Graduate Student Association
    • Angela Scioscia, M.D., Interim Executive Director of Student Health and Wellbeing
You are invited to submit a question as part of your registration or during the event itself. While we will not be able to address all questions during the event, we will make every effort to do so through an FAQ on the Return to Learn website.

    Register for the event here.

If you have any questions about the student town hall, please contact the Return to Learn program at rtl@ucsd.edu.
