Project Location/Description:
The Revelle Utilities Improvement project will construct an underground domestic water line, sewer line, and medium voltage electrical ductbank in the Revelle College area. This project will provide additional water capacity, sewage capacity, and bring power closer to existing facilities in the area.
Construction of the sewer line between Revelle College Drive and Gilman Drive began on July 27, 2020 with an anticipated completion of December 31, 2020.
Immediate Street Traffic, bicycle lanes and Pedestrian Impacts:
Traffic delays on Scholars Drive will occur due to the closure of Scholars Drive South (between Revelle College Drive and La Jolla Shores Drive) and the closure of parking lot P103 on Friday September 04, 2020, with the exception of access to the Housing Dining and Hospitality loading dock. Traffic will be controlled by flag persons and detour signs will be provided. Bike lane and pedestrian sidewalks on Scholars Drive South will also be closed at this section of Scholars Drive. Please follow signage and allow extra time while traveling along Scholars Drive South.
