Fall 2020 Space Information Review
The campus Facilities Information Management (FIM) system for space management promotes efficient allocation and utilization of campus space, including administrative, teaching, and research space. Accurate information supports building planning, maintenance and operations, in addition to enhancing emergency response and assisting with post-coronavirus space planning efforts.
Campus Planning requests your participation in the Fall 2020 Space Information Review to the best of your ability, given constraints arising from COVID-19 impacts, Enterprise System Renewal priorities, and limited onsite access related to teleworking. The deadline for completing the fall space review is October 16, 2020.
You can complete most of the required actions remotely using the Facilities Information Management portal. Required actions focus on obtaining accurate corrections for floor plans and open office (cubicle furniture and benching, and completing accurate space information for space classes, department allocations, and cluster allocations). View the fall 2020 requirements and find detailed information about the Biannual Space Information Reviews, including FIM training and Campus Planning support.
If you need additional assistance, a Facilities Information Management Community of Practice meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m.
