Celebrating National Transfer Student Week at UC San Diego
Triton Transfers enrich our campus community through their unique experiences, talents and accomplishments. National Transfer Student Week (NTSW) celebrates our transfer students and the community of faculty and staff who support them. Recognizing that one-third of incoming undergraduates are talented and accomplished students who begin their journey from other colleges and universities, UC San Diego is pleased to join our UC partners and the nation in celebrating National Transfer Student Week.
On October 18 – 22, students, faculty and staff are welcomed to participate in an array of events, programs and services which focus on getting transfer students connected to resources and to one another. We encourage the campus community to join us for our National Transfer Student Week Celebration on Thursday, October 21 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Matthews Quad. Transfer Student Resources
Transfer Student Success provides resources, services, and programs to empower Triton Transfers to achieve their goals as they navigate UC San Diego's academic and cultural landscape. Within the Triton Transfer Hub, Transfer Student Success assists students in their transition through active engagement in opportunities that support their paths and build community so they thrive academically, professionally and personally. In addition, support to the campus community to share knowledge and implement proven promising practices to support transfer student experiences is also provided.
