WalkMe Browser Extension Approved for all University Managed Computers
The Enterprise Information Services Committee (EISC) has approved the deployment of the WalkMe Digital Adoption Platform to all university-managed workstations, including Health Sciences, beginning October 28.
WalkMe is a tool that ensures that all transactions are recorded into the system with complete and accurate information to avoid rework by fiscal/fund managers. During an 11-week pilot with roughly 25% of our end users, WalkMe reviewed over 6,500 transactions and prevented over 850 transactions from being submitted, which saved on average 45 minutes to identify and correct each transaction by our fiscal/fund managers.
Additional uses of WalkMe to validate other transactional systems, including UCPath and SAP Concur, are now underway. The team will continue to partner with our financial community to identify and mitigate sources of data quality issues in our efforts to address increased workload introduced by recent system implementations.
With the support of our IT community, the WalkMe browser extension will be automatically installed on all university-managed workstations. You will be notified directly by your IT support team with more details on the deployment.
