Open Enrollment Begins Today
Open Enrollment begins today and ends on Friday, November 19 at 5 p.m. This is your once-a-year opportunity to review benefit offerings at UC San Diego, determine which plans will be most beneficial for you and your family for 2022, and make the appropriate changes. If you're happy with your current benefit selection and do not plan to make changes or re-enroll for a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you should still review your Benefits Summary page on UCPath Online to ensure accuracy.
There are several options to help you learn about your options and make informed decisions about your benefits:
Open Enrollment Webinars: Join representatives from the UCPath Center for a webinar and Q&A session to learn about changes to benefits plans in 2022 and the resources that are available to help you make choices about your benefits. View the webinar schedule on Blink.
Vendor Partner Presentations: On Wednesday, November 3, attend presentations from our UC benefits providers to learn about health plans and other benefits and to ask your questions. View the vendor presentation schedule on Blink.
Open Enrollment Office Hours: If you have additional questions about your health plan after attending an Open Enrollment presentation, log into one of our virtual Office Hours sessions to get your questions answered. View the schedule of Open Enrollment Office Hours on Blink.
Now more than ever, staying healthy is key — and good health begins with convenient primary care. That’s why UC San Diego Health has expanded our network of primary care locations to the neighborhoods where you live and work. UC San Diego Health is ranked the #1 heath system in San Diego by U.S. News & World Report, with 10 of our specialty care programs named among the top 50 in the nation. For more information on our network of primary care services and physicians, please visit Get Better Care Now.
Open Enrollment is also the time for you to enroll or re-enroll in a Flexible Spending Account if you want to continue your Health FSA (for healthcare expenses for you and your family members) or Dependent Care FSA (for childcare or eldercare expenses) in 2022. Re-enrollment is not automatic for these FSA plans. If you would like to enroll in one of these plans, you will need to make your new annual election during Open Enrollment.
