System Implementation Assistance Pool Funding Request

University leadership has agreed to set aside a pool of funds to assist faculty who have suffered losses attributable to issues associated with the recent implementation of new financial systems. Final funding will be determined after all applications are received via this link: https://ucsd.kualibuild.com/app/builder/#/app/615b7e2518be8903e6832836/run.

A committee composed of faculty engaged in research and administrative staff was formed to develop the criteria and award funds to applicants. The committee has agreed on the following criteria, with a minimum impacted amount of $500, which are also noted in the application form:

Reimbursement denied
Invoices rejected
Funding required to be returned
Other

The application period will open on November 1 and close on December 17. The committee will communicate the timeline for review shortly after the close of the application period.

With the understanding that all relevant losses may not be understood by December 17, if the committee believes there could be additional needs not known at this time then another application period in the spring could be considered.
