To encourage students to get their COVID-19 vaccine booster, Associated Students and the Graduate and Professional Student Association are teaming up with the Chancellor and Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs to help our campus community stay healthy and secure a sizable donation for students in need.
The Boostin’ Out for Basic Needs Challenge
Our goal is to have 10,000 Triton students get their COVID-19 vaccine booster by December 31, 2021. Meeting that goal puts a $50,000 donation from Chancellor Khosla into the Basic Needs Hub, in support of food security, housing resources, and financial wellness for all Tritons. Get Boosted
Appointments for Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines and vaccine boosters are now available for all eligible students at the Price Center on campus and at drive-up locations at our La Jolla and Hillcrest Medical Centers.
To qualify for a COVID-19 vaccine booster, it must be six months or more since you completed your two-dose regimen of Pfizer or Moderna’s vaccine or two months or more since you completed your one-dose regimen of Johnson and Johnson.
Tritons care for Tritons
Getting boosted reduces the risks of getting infected, of transmitting disease, of having severe disease complications if you become infected, and of creating a new virus variant. Do your part to help the campus community stay healthy and assist fellow students in need by helping us reach the goal.
