CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Humanities and Social Sciences Building Repair Project - Start of Construction
Project Purpose
To upgrade the fire and life safety systems in the Humanities and Social Sciences Building and replace the exterior wall on the eight-story tower.

Location and Duration
Construction at the Humanities and Social Sciences Building will start on March 16, 2021 and continue through March 1, 2022.
 
Immediate Parking Lot, Street Traffic and Pedestrian Impacts
  • The construction will eliminate access around and to the Humanities and Social Sciences Building.
  • The concrete area north of the Muir Biology loading dock used by Facilities Management will not be available for parking for the duration of construction. The adjacent lot, P201, will be available for parking.
