Unfunded Agreements in Kuali Research go live on March 15, 2021

Unfunded Agreements will transition to Kuali Research beginning Monday, March 15, 2021. The addition of Unfunded Agreements in Kuali Research will significantly improve the ability of the Office of Contract and Grant Administration to track, monitor, and obtain compliance approvals, as well as increase efficiencies and reporting capabilities.

Online Unfunded Agreement requests to the OCGA Ancillary Research Agreements Team (main campus and Health Sciences) and to the SIO Contracts and Grants Office will be discontinued at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 in anticipation of “go live” in Kuali Research on March 15, 2021. If you have an urgent Unfunded Agreement during the transition period (March 10 - March 15), please email Jeff Warner (main campus and Health Sciences) or Frank Truong (SIO).

You can use either your Active Directory (AD) or Business Systems credentials to log in, which will require a two-step authentication. For assistance with these logins, visit UC San Diego Accounts and Passwords.

UC San Diego main campus and Health Sciences employees who do not currently have access to Kuali Research but need it to request Unfunded Agreements should follow these Step-by-Step Instructions for requesting access. SIO users who need access should contact SIO Contracts and Grants.
