National Student Employment Week, April 12-18, 2021
The National Student Employment Association (NSEA) designates one week each year for universities and colleges across the country to recognize the invaluable contributions of students who work on campus.
Here at UC San Diego, over 10,000 students are employed by the university, each playing a key role in our educational, research and operational excellence. Student employees perform critical services with enthusiasm, dedication and initiative. At the same time, they develop important skills and experience.
During these times of social distancing and in appreciation of our Triton student workers, the Student Employment Office would like to encourage you to take the time to show thanks and give virtual recognition to the dedicated student employees in your department. In addition, we are especially grateful to our Triton Health Ambassadors who have helped educate us on the importance of wearing masks and adhering to social distancing protocols.
The office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs partners with the Student Employment Office in sponsoring National Student Employment Week, which takes place April 12-18, 2021. Visit the Career Center’s website for virtual appreciation tips on ways to recognize your student employees. A template for a Certificate of Appreciation is also available for your use.
