We are pleased to announce the return of UC San Diego’s Process Palooza, May 11 – June 8. Now in its fourth iteration, Process Palooza celebrates our university’s commitment to business excellence, operational efficiency and continuous improvement. The 2021 series provides support, lessons, actionable takeaways and inspiration.
Chancellor Pradeep Khosla and Executive Vice Chancellor Elizabeth H. Simmons will kick off Process Palooza during the May 11 session. In our remarks we will discuss how a continuous improvement mindset directly supports UC San Diego’s Strategic Plan Goal #5: Supportive Infrastructure, as well as our campuswide culture of innovation and empowerment.
During each of the weekly Process Palooza virtual sessions, participants will experience the Power of Continuous Improvement with success stories from UC San Diego, healthcare organizations, global higher education institutions, and nonprofit organizations.
Additionally, each week will feature highlights from the Great LSS Race, a unique competition in which teams utilize Lean Six Sigma principles to improve an actual campus business process.
All UC San Diego personnel are invited and encouraged to participate in Process Palooza 2021. Sessions are packed with insightful speakers, actionable takeaways, audience participation, prizes, and fun for all!
