UC San Diego Virtual Powwow: May 1, 2021
Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the first Intercollegiate Virtual Powwow on May 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hosted by the Native American communities at UC San Diego and San Diego State University, this virtual powwow features traditional Native American dancing and drums, introduction to the UC San Diego powwow princess, a frybread demonstration and celebrations of Native American cultures.
On behalf of the campus community, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to the members of the powwow planning committee for their work on this celebration. Please join us in celebrating the legacy and contributions of our Native American communities.
