Call for Nominations: 2021 Chancellor's Medal and Revelle Medal

Each year, UC San Diego acknowledges its founding with signature events and recognition of community leaders and faculty who exemplify the ideals of the university and contribute to its reputation as a world-class institution. This year’s Founders Celebration will take place November 18-20, 2021.
The Chancellor’s Medal is one of the highest honors bestowed by UC San Diego to honor exceptional service in support of the university’s mission. Nominees must have a connection to the university. Current employees, faculty or staff are ineligible. To learn about nomination criteria and previous recipients, visit the Chancellor’s Medal website.
The Revelle Medal honors the contributions of retired faculty or faculty emeriti for sustained, distinguished and extraordinary service to UC San Diego in the fulfillment of its mission. Visit the Revelle Medal website for more information.
I invite and encourage each of you to submit your nomination of those extraordinary leaders who are driving UC San Diego’s stature as a leading university and health system. Nominations are due by Monday, June 21, 2021. Thank you for your contribution to the process.
