Webinar: Living on the Dark Web

With many members of the UC San Diego community now living with their personal information on the dark web, merely checking your alerts isn't enough. How do you live securely in 2021 and beyond amidst ransomware attacks, data breaches and an ever-changing cybersecurity landscape?

That’s the question to be addressed during an upcoming webinar titled: Living on the Dark Web: How to Live Securely After (or Before) a Data Breach in 2021 and Beyond, July 13 at 1 p.m. PDT.

The webinar will cover:
  • The latest updates from the UCOP Accellion incident
  • Specific steps you should take in both your personal and professional life to protect your identity, privacy, accounts and more
  • The cybersecurity landscape, biggest threats to UC San Diego, and what the university is doing in response
Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to pose questions when you register, as well as during the webinar. A recording will be posted online as well.
