Project Purpose
A mobile crane will be removing and installing concrete panels as part of the renovation of the Humanities and Social Sciences Building.
Location and Duration
From August 23 through October 29, plan for intermittent delays of up to 20 minutes to access Scholars Lane, parking lot P201 and the Biology Building loading dock Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Immediate Parking Lot, Street Traffic and Pedestrian Impacts
- Traffic control may delay traffic for as long as 20 minutes as panels are being lifted over Scholars Lane. This could delay access from parking lot P201and deliveries to the Biology Building.
- Pedestrian traffic across Scholars Lane will be routed west between the tennis and volleyball courts.
Please observe all temporary traffic controls and crewmember instructions. Please reduce speeds and allow extra space when traveling adjacent to construction activity. See a map of the affected area.
