CONSTRUCTION ALERT – Humanities and Social Sciences Building Repair – Temporary Closure of Scholars Lane, Parking Lot P201 and the Biology Building Loading Dock

Project Purpose
Construction impacts will occur along Scholars Lane for the construction of a mobile crane that will be used for the Humanities and Social Sciences Building repair project.

Location and Duration
Scholars Lane, Parking Lot P201 and the Biology Building loading dock will be temporarily closed from August 16, 2021 to August 20, 2021.

Immediate Parking Lot, Street Traffic and Pedestrian Impacts

Scholars Lane will be closed.
Access to Parking Lot P201 will be closed.
Access to the Biology Building loading dock will be closed.
Pedestrian traffic across Scholars Lane will be routed west to Scholars Drive and around the tennis courts.

Please observe all temporary traffic controls and crewmember instructions. Please reduce speeds and allow extra space when traveling adjacent to construction activity. See a map of the affected area.
