Volunteers Requested for New Student Welcome Convocation on Tuesday, Sept. 21
Dear Colleagues,
This year we have an exciting opportunity to meet and engage our incoming undergraduate students and our returning incoming 2020 students.
Volunteer at the 2021 New Student Welcome Convocation
Tuesday, September 21, 2021
Convocation marks our UC San Diego students' formal entrance into the UC San Diego academic community. This marquee event of the Tritons Weeks of Welcome (TWOW) is held at RIMAC field and is characterized as the beginning bookend experience with the Commencement ceremony. This year, our incoming new students and Rising Second-year students will attend Convocation with their colleges to enjoy a warm welcome message from campus leadership, esteemed faculty, alumni and their A.S. President.
Please consider volunteering during Welcome Week to help usher in our incoming and returning undergraduate students. All registered volunteers will receive a t-shirt and a pair of sunglasses. Follow this link to register today: https://go.ucsd.edu/3n0XV93.
For more event information and a full list of TWOW events, please visit: http://twow.ucsd.edu.
Please feel free to forward this invitation to any staff colleagues who may be interested. We greatly appreciate your support!
