Faculty and Research Town Hall: Thursday, Jan. 13

Please join us Thursday, Jan. 13, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, as we co-host a Return to Learn Faculty and Research Town Hall.

The Town Hall will feature opening remarks from Chancellor Khosla, both of us, as well as Academic Senate Chair Tara Javidi, presentations by a panel of campus experts, and a Q&A session moderated by Senior Associate Vice Chancellor Robert Continetti.

Presentations will include:

Report on the State of the Pandemic, Variants, and Monitoring
An Update on Vaccine/Booster Mandates, Testing, Isolation and Quarantine Requirements, and Student Return to Campus
Instruction Updates
Student Experience Updates
Research Updates
Federal Funding Updates

Representatives from the following areas across the campus will be on hand to answer your questions: Offices of the EVC, Research Affairs, Student Affairs, Student Health and Well-Being, Human Resources, Academic Personnel, Resource Management and Planning, the Divisions of Undergraduate and Graduate Education, International Students and Programs, International Faculty and Scholars, Sponsored Projects, Contract and Grant Administration, Division of Infectious Diseases and Global Public Health, Information Technology Services, and the Educational and Research Continuity Task Forces.

You are invited to submit questions when you register or during the event itself. While we may not be able to address all questions during the event, we will ensure questions will be answered through the FAQ on the Return to Learn website and the Research Ramp-up FAQs.
