Triton Days Programming for Fall 2022 Admitted Students – Registration Now Open

Dear Campus Community,

Triton Days offer an opportunity for the campus community to welcome newly admitted first-year and transfer students to the Triton family and showcase UC San Diego. For many admitted students and their families, Triton Days will be their first chance to experience UC San Diego’s dynamic campus community, expansive research, and collaborative opportunities. Your participation is vital as we share the spirit of our community and ensure newly admitted students picture their future as Tritons.

Triton Days 2022 will be in a hybrid format, with multiple days of virtual activities culminating with an in-person, celebratory experience. Campus partnership and participation is essential to ensure our guests are welcomed, informed, and engaged.

The campus community can participate both virtually and in-person. Additional information surrounding the events and ways to participate may be found here, including opportunities to engage with the Triton Days Steering Committee to answer your questions.

Programming Dates and Times:

Monday, March 28 - Thursday, March 31: Virtual programming for first-year admitted students [4-7 p.m. PDT]
Saturday, April 2, 2022: In-person celebratory experience for first-year admitted students [9 a.m. to 1 p.m. PDT]
Monday, May 9 - Thursday, May 12: Virtual programming for transfer admitted students [4-7 p.m. PDT]
Saturday, May 14, 2022: In-person celebratory experience for transfer admitted students [9 a.m. to 1 p.m. PDT]

As members of the Triton community wanting to share all that the campus has to offer, we are all eager to engage with the newly admitted class. To ensure the best experience for admitted students (and families) and to provide a coordinated effort across the campus community, we ask that you refrain from offering additional events/webinars during the above dates and times.

Register: Please register to participate in programming for Triton Days. Registration for both first-year and transfer admitted student programming closes on Wednesday, February 16 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

Additionally, many volunteers are needed to make Triton Days a great success. Sign up to volunteer.

COVID-19 Contingency Plans: Please note that event guidance for UC San Diego may continue to change. All in-person events will need to follow campus guidelines at the date/time of the event and may need to be adjusted from the original plans. The Triton Days Steering Committee is currently developing contingency plans and they will do their best to keep everyone updated. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
