Celebrating National Transfer Student Week at UC San Diego

Triton Transfers enrich our campus community through their unique experiences, talents and accomplishments. National Transfer Student Week (NTSW) celebrates our transfer students and the community of faculty and staff who support them. Recognizing that one-third of incoming undergraduates are talented and accomplished students who begin their journey from other colleges and universities, UC San Diego is pleased to join our UC partners and the nation in celebrating National Transfer Student Week.

On October 17 - 21, students, faculty and staff are welcomed to participate in an array of events, programs and services which focus on getting transfer students connected to resources and to one another.

Mark your calendars to join us for key events:

Monday, October 17 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. – National Transfer Student Week Kickoff in Price Center Plaza
Wednesday, October 19 from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (virtual) – Identifying, Creating and Promoting a Transfer Receptive Culture in the UC’s (with bonus content!) – a Professional Development Event for all UC Faculty and Staff hosted by the UC Transfer Success Coalition. Register to attend.
Thursday, October 20 from 4 - 6 p.m. – National Transfer Student Week Celebration at Matthews Quad

Transfer Student Resources

Transfer Student Success provides resources, services, and programs to empower Triton Transfers to achieve their goals as they navigate UC San Diego's academic and cultural landscape. Within the Triton Transfer Hub, Transfer Student Success assists students in their transition through active engagement in opportunities that support their paths and build community so they thrive academically, professionally and personally. In addition, Transfer Student Success provides support to the campus community to share knowledge and implement proven promising practices to support transfer student experiences.
