Updates on Research Funding for California Climate Initiative

As many of you know, the California Legislature approved the California Climate Action Initiative this year allocating $100 million to the University of California to invest in research that will have a swift and measurable impact on climate resilience.
These funds will be used to fund action-oriented solutions to address California’s climate goals and needs, ensure that local communities are prepared and resilient, and prevent future disasters.
To help our UC San Diego research community prepare for proposal submissions and address funding concerns in advance, the Vice Chancellor for Research Corinne Peek-Asa will host a listening session.
