On February 17, 2022 at 10:21 am, the UC San Diego Police Department received a report of an arson that occurred at York Hall between 3:30 pm on February 15, 2022 and 9:00 pm on February 16, 2022. The reporting party stated that construction fencing was burned in multiple places. There are no reported injuries and there is no suspect description at this time.
The suspect has not been apprehended and the investigation is on-going.
