2022 YWCA TWIN Award Nominations for Women Staff

The Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (CSW) is seeking nominations for women in staff positions for this year’s YWCA Tribute to Women & Industry (TWIN) Award. Since 1981, CSW has alternated nominating UC San Diego Faculty/Academics and Staff women for the award.

The YWCA initiated this program to augment the efforts of organizations in recognizing their female employees for outstanding achievement. The criteria for the nomination are:

Honoree must occupy a management, executive or professional position with responsibility for a major component of their company/organization.
Honoree must have made an outstanding achievement with their company/organization.

Please note that current members of the CSW and past recipients of the award are ineligible for nomination.

The Chancellor and Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion endorse and submit the final nomination in April to the YWCA. The campus nominee, along with other women throughout the San Diego area, will be honored at an event later in the year.

All nominations are due Thursday, March 24, 2022, for CSW review. To nominate an individual, please visit the CSW website.
