On Tuesday March 22, 2022, at 7:09 PM, the UC San Diego Police Department received a report that an unknown male exposed his erect penis to female staff members in the School of Medicine area, by the Holly building at about 7:05 PM. The reporting person stated that the male was standing between a building and the bushes and turned to show the victim his erect penis. The male then left the area, last seen headed north towards the Stein building.
The report is currently under investigation by the UC San Diego Police Department. At this time, the suspect is not in custody. The suspect is described by the victim as a male adult in his early 20's, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, having a thin build and wearing a beige shirt and blue jeans. He was also described as having medium-length black hair.

Receive affirmative consent from your partner before engaging in sexual activity. Consent is voluntary and it must be given without coercion, force, threats or intimidation and can be withdrawn at any time.
Perpetrators may attempt to use alcohol and/or drugs to facilitate a sexual assault. Alcohol or drugs is never an excuse for choosing to violate another person.
There are a number of drugs that may be added to beverages with the intent of altering the consciousness or incapacitating a person without their knowledge. These drugs are particularly dangerous when combined with alcohol, and often produce amnesia, leaving a victim unclear about what occurred afterward. These drugs can facilitate criminal activity, most often acts of sexual misconduct or sexual assault.
Ignorance of the law or of University policy concerning sexual assault, sexual misconduct and sexual harassment is never a defense.
Sexual assaults are never the fault of the survivor, and keeping UC San Diego safe is a community responsibility. You can help prevent sexual assaults by identifying common behaviors that often precede sexual assault, and taking action if you see those behaviors happening. Recognizable red flags include seeing someone who is attempting to separate an intoxicated individual from their friends, or continuing to pour drinks for an individual who is clearly beyond their limit. You can help by attempting to reconnect someone who is intoxicated with their friends, or agree to call a CSO to escort that person home.
