The 38th annual Sun God Festival will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. Due to the construction of event infrastructure, Hopkins Drive will close from 6 a.m. through 9 p.m. on April 30. Hopkins Drive will also close in that period to all traffic between Scholars Drive North and Voigt Drive.
Additionally, as part of health and safety initiatives related to the Festival, Scholars Drive North will close to all traffic between the Pangaea Parking Structure and North Point Drive from 6 a.m. through 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 30.
UC San Diego community members planning to be on campus Saturday, but not attending the event, may want to avoid the northwest area of campus, as road access and parking will be impacted.
